Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana has held The Great Acadiana Running of the Ducks for the past 21 years to generate energy, enthusiasm, and financial support for our youth development programs. Over 25,000 ducks take the plunge for a great cause. Individuals from our surrounding communities purchase ducks for $5, so this is one event everyone can be supportive of. Moss Motors has awarded the grand prize winner a new Honda each year of this event.
The Great Acadiana Running of the Ducks event will take place on Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Red Lerille’s Health & Racquet Club in Lafayette, Louisiana, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. The event will be live on KLFY – TV 10 at 11:30 a.m. This is a fun and family friendly event. We might have some special guest at our event:)
