Lafayette, LA – This Halloween season, local Fright House display is back for its 8th year, bringing spooky fun and the community together for a good cause. The haunted house, located on LeFleur Street in Lafayette, is set to immerse visitors in spine-chilling excitement with terrifyingly realistic sets, creepy characters, and eerie surprises around every corner. Guests will enjoy heart-pounding thrills but rest assured—it's all in the name of giving back to the community.
Phil Devey and Lafayette Ballet Theater (LBT) join to support art and creative experiences to the youth at Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana. LBT is partnering with the Boys & Girls Club to introduce 3rd graders to the world of ballet. They will offer ballet classes for 8 weeks starting in January and provide all uniforms and equipment needed. Upon the completion of classes, the funds raised by the Fright House will cover ballet shoes and other dance attire for the youth to keep in a lasting souvenir from the time spent with LBT. In addition, if any of the youth are interested in continuing dance classes, LBT will provide scholarships into the Dance Conservatory.
“This partnership is a formula for success. It brings together passion, community support, and resources to create life-changing opportunities. Our true success is achieved when the community unites to open doors for our youth. A big thank you to Lafayette Ballet Theatre and Devey family for your support.” – Rhyan Wheeler Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana CEO
