Steak and Burger Dinner

Boys & Girls Clubs have held the Steak & Burger Dinner to showcase the youth, which we serve. This event presents an opportunity for you to help our community’s children to BE GREAT and achieve their dreams for success. Our community leaders will be joining a multitude of bright young boys and girls for a delightful evening of steak fries, hearty burgers, and wonderful performances featuring our Club kids. The best part is each table will have two Club kids. This way our guests can speak to the children that we serve and learn more about what they do in the Clubs. The proceeds go directly to helping the kids. All six of our local Clubs will share the funds raised from this event. There are Clubs in Iberia, Vermilion, and St. Landry parishes and three in Lafayette which operate year round. The Clubs are positive places for kids to go after school and during the summer. Individuals, Corporations and other entities purchase sponsorships and tables to raise funding for operations. Youth of the Year winners from each Club are recognized. Superior Energy Services and Chevron are the presenting sponsors for this event. We usually have about 700 people in attendance.

Every year Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana serve over 3000 children, offering them hope, possibilities, help with homework, life skills, cultural arts, sports and recreation, career and college preparation programs. Club kids stay in school and help bring about a brighter future. We help kids to BE GREAT, so help them to do so as well and you will BE GREAT too.
