Throughout Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana’s (BGCA)’s 51-year history, our staff has intentionally adapted to better serve thousands of youth across Acadiana and Southwest Louisiana, and this year is no different. This fall, our members are back in the Clubs, with dedicated mentors and enrichment programming they’ve come to know and depend on, not to mention games, meals and smiles!

 

Do you know that at least 1 in 5 kids go home to an empty house after school with no support? This giving Tuesday, you can give those without after school care a safe affordable place to obtain academic assistance, meals and enrichment, in a supportive environment.

 

Each of our Six (6) clubs provides unique programming geared toward developing productive citizens, encouraging academic success while building a foundation of leadership skills. Kids are incentivized and recognized for their intentional actions that result in healthy lifestyle choices and integrity, all while in a safe environment. In January, 2022, we will also be opening a new club in Natchitoches! YOUR DONATION ENSURES THAT today’s club members are tomorrow’s leaders.

 

This #givingtuesday, help us make those safe after school spaces even safer! Your donation will help us upgrade our clubs’ safety measures, including funding upgraded cameras, vestibules, fencing and lighting.
