Alliance Compressors Invests $100,000 in New Boys & Girl Club




Natchitoches, La—Alliance Compressors, through the non-profit Emerson Charitable Trust, donated $100,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana, to bring a Boys & Girls Club back to the community. Alliance employees, representatives from Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana and local advisory council members gathered, August 5th to announce Alliance’s investment in the youth of Natchitoches.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of El Camino Real closed its doors in 2019 after 29 years of service to the community, due to growing costs of the organization. Under new leadership, local advisory members and a sustainable plan for growth, the Natchitoches Boys & Girls Club is expected to open in January 2022.

The Boys and Girls Club will bring community stability, educational support, and a safe place for our youth to grow and learn. This year marks the 51st anniversary of Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana and the Natchitoches project represents the organization’s 7th site. Locations include (2) Lafayette, New Iberia, Abbeville, Opelousas and Lake Charles.
