Crowley, LA – As part of its 100th-anniversary celebration, First National Bank of Louisiana (FNB) is proud to announce a significant donation towards the establishment of the Randy Prather Boys & Girls Club in Crowley. This initiative aims to address the longstanding need for youth-focused community organizations in the city of Crowley.

The Randy Prather Boys & Girls Club, scheduled to open its doors in Fall 2024, will provide a vital resource for the youth, offering a safe and supportive environment for their growth, learning, and development.

Mr. Randy Prather, Chairman of the Board at FNB, has been a steadfast supporter, Board Member, and volunteer with the Boys & Girls Clubs for many years. His dedication to the organization and passion for empowering youth have been instrumental in bringing this project to life.

The announcement of naming the new club took place at FNB’s centennial event in Crowley, in the presence of Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana Board Members along with esteemed supporters of the community. This collaborative effort emphasizes the commitment of both FNB and local individuals to invest in the future of Crowley’s youth.

“First National Bank planned this special donation during our centennial year to mark the occasion of our anniversary and to honor the service of our Chairman of the Board Randy Prather,” said FNB President Jim Lyons. “Selecting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Acadiana as our nonprofit was an easy choice. Our bankers have been involved with the organization as board members, volunteers, and as donors throughout the years.”

“We are absolutely thrilled to announce the establishment of a new Club right here in the heart of Crowley. It’s truly inspiring to witness the community’s dedication to empowering our youth, and we anticipate witnessing the ripple effects of this investment for generations to come. The decision to name the Club after Randy Prather is the perfect finishing touch, adding a meaningful layer to this endeavor.” – Rhyan Wheeler, Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana CEO & President
